Not about the politix, but about the missile launches.

Tonight missile strike on the Yuzhmash plants in Dnepropetrovsk.
Some say, by the new RS-26 Rubezh IRBM (the offspring of Yars/Topol) with MRV head (not officially confirmed).

Me is interested to have a look at the internals of the memorial R-36M at the Yuzhnoe.

Not from bad nature, but to see, what's inside from the 3d modelling pov.

The 2d pictures are too schematic, and they don't present the geometry in the same way. Hard to distinguish the panels and the seals.

(Unlikely there is another chance to see that in details.)

It is not a space missile , it is a 3-stage, global-range "RS-28 Sarmat" ballistic missile carrying a nuclear warhead that crashes into the target at a speed of 4000m/s. Unfortunately I don't have the ability to build a launcher vehicle like "Topol"

Everyone screams it's an RS-26 Rubezh, an IRBM cancelled in 2018. It's a Yars minus one stage.

As someone quipped, "ICBM experts sending their hardware for other ICBM experts to look at".

Still thinking: six shot sixpacks straight verticaly.

Of course, this can be lightweight RVs and heavy decoys around them, but what if it's a secret orbital ion cannon?

It would be nice to send one to the (Moon, Mars, whatever) to collect evaporated ground samples.

Upd.
Officially, it was the new IRBM Oreshnik /  Hazel.

Technically, about the launch (the one mentioned above), but actually about the European Avio space company (can't find a thread on it).

(Like always, ignore the comments.)

After the arrival of the Oreshnik, the management of Yuzhmash does not comment on the prospect of producing RD-843 rocket engines for NATO countries.

<...>

It is noteworthy that in mid-September, the management of Yuzhmash announced that it would continue to produce RD-843 rocket engines for the European company Avio until 2027. In European terminology, this engine is called MEA. The company is represented by factories in France and Italy. It is engaged in the production of rockets, spacecraft (including spy satellites for France and other NATO countries).
