Hi, I'm new here.  I am an artist and game developer interested in space exploration.  I would love to meet some like minded people.

Recently I've taken to reading many of Isaac Asimov's non-fiction science books.  I am currently half way through "Extraterrestrial Civilizations," and it's absolutely fascinating.

Dr. A will keep you busy for a while. He wrote over 400 books, and less than half of them were fiction. Some of the info in them is out of date now, but he has a very clear writing style that makes complex subjects easy to understand. I've read a fair number of them, myself.
