dragonfree97
Pretty sure thats what he meant. You cant exactly do a grand tour with only 2 planets now can you...You can, it's just a pretty rubbish grand tour.
Polar Bear
I don't want it to be rushed, but judging from the Planned changes, it shouldn't be much longer. One or two major changes left.I think it's against the rules to speculate as well, just a little notice.Anyway, I love the look so far, also, Nova, you need to vanillaize some of those BACE parts, maybe improve them a little if possible. Not because I don't want to use a mod, but I think it would be a way to update it a little.

etildard
I may be mistaken, but there doesn't appear to be any atmosphere around that planet... was this just a pic from earlier in development?
Kerbal Nauts
I may be mistaken, but there doesn't appear to be any atmosphere around that planet... was this just a pic from earlier in development?I notice that too. Looks like a big moon still it is very nice.
Ki11aWi11
When you say Duna has a thinner atmosphere, is that less dense, or it doesn't extend as high as Kerbins?
NovaSilisko
You can't see atmosphere on Kerbin at that distance, either. Also, here's the launcher:
Czman007
Wow Duna looks amazing, I can't wait to put stations above all the planets!
GabrielG.A.B.Fonseca
You make interesting uses of the Tail part... Also, that design is what I normally use in my Minmus rockets.

Wait till 0.17P.S Theres some really nice looking retro rockets in the kethane addons

SLAMS
You can't see atmosphere on Kerbin at that distance, either. Also, here's the launcher:[snip]Wow that is a impressively large object to send so far, also the launcher is tiny compared to what I am considering... I'm am amazed it has enough power. Also interesting use of tail cones to add lateral stability, I'm starting to think Nova likes to make the wackiest rocket he can. SLAMS
oh, they're vanilla parts? excuse me while I s**t my pants in excitementThe fuel and engines look to be stock, the actual "space station" is made from mod parts that nova made.In other words, nothing that would make this any easier. nhnifong
The Kosmos pack has excellent little jettison-able structure things to attach struts to. They're designed to accomplish what you appear to be using the tail part or. But maybe you use it for style lol.
Pawelk198604
yay a 2m to 1m adaptor! This is I do not like the KSP that you can build a rocket with no aerodynamic design, and it still fly to the obit. I saw a video on YouTube as one built on the ground, *entire space station;-)
LaydeeDem
You can't see atmosphere on Kerbin at that distance, either. Also, here's the launcher:That's smaller than my Mun rocket.
Maddmatts
The 3m parts must have been corrected. I can barely get a similar design into a low-ish orbit as they are in 0.16.

simplemunrockets
Technically it's 2.5 meters, but I digress. Nova, does that rocket have a tight fuel budget?
NovaSilisko
Technically it's 2.5 meters, but I digress. Nova, does that rocket have a tight fuel budget?Well, I ejected the departure stage with a bit of fuel left, and had to perform an aerocapture once I reached Duna, so, yes, to an extent. nhnifong
It's cool that you've tuned the atmosphere such that the aerobraking-parachute-rocket combo that works on Mars is also appropriate for Duna. Only in KSP though could you use aerobraking to slow down a space station. lol Edited September 2, 2012 by nhnifong
