Lunar Sports and Activities

Diamond coated carbon fiber tires on that bicycle? That funny though you should say it, I wonder if the bicycle was geared properly could you put yourself in orbit, like ET. I imagine the landings would be a bugger.

I think any crash over 30 MPH on a bike is generally a traumatic event, so at 100 MPH its probably fatal, plus tires cannot withstand much in terms of impacts (not to mention ones pelvis).

In lunar gravity the force of friction would be 6 times less than on Earth.
So, the bicycle should have winter wheels and unlikely could reach 1.6 km/s.

Lunar baskeball.
You can dribble the ball not only against the floor, but against the ceiling as well. Anyway you'll do it. Stupid gravity...
You can throw the ball into basket by a ceiling ricochet. It gives 4 points...
...and by a floor-ceiling-basket ricochette. 12 points.
But you can make only one step without dribbling. Stupid gravity...

Lunar chess.
Like on the Earth, but lunar.
