I have a question concerning skunk works creations, perhaps you as a community can help. 

Replication of star wars vehicles, 

I have painstakingly recreated star wars models, but I am wondering where the copy write laws apply?

As long as you're not claiming the designs as original and giving credit to the Star Wars franchise for providing the inspiration, then all should be fine. Copyright really only applies to this sort of thing if you start making money off of it. Otherwise even things like drawings would be discouraged
