In this industry, a yes is only ever a maybe until it actually releases (see multiplayer for PC KSP). And with KSP's console track record sometimes it's still a maybe even after release.

And if the answer is no, why would they ever say so? They have you on the hook and they'll keep you dangling there in case they want to try to reel you in later.
