"Talking Kerbals"

One thing I would really like would be talking Kerbals.  They're really quite, well, silent most of the time.  The only talking I've found is the Mission Control guy who seems to have several expressions depending on what I do.  Okay, so "talking" is not really required.  Just, well, whatever the Mission Control guy does.

Use the chatterer mod.

Chatterer is the way to go for that, it really adds ambiance to your space missions.

To be honest I'd say the Kerbals talking in a mission would be rather distracting and annoying.

At least I couldn't focus properly on what I want to do anymore.

Could be fun if they made noise during certain events, e.g. touchdowns, reentry, and whenever a piece of the ship is destroyed. Maybe a little "bye bye!" type noise when undocking bits of your ship.

I wish the female Kerbals would look happy when landing.   Unlike the Male Kerbal, they are quite emotionless once the parachutes come out.

I was thinking of adding it as a suggestion, as from what I can tell you dont have the ability to have the message node play any of those kerbal sounds (from the contract selection screen in mission control).  I’d also like the ability to chose a fellow kerbal as the sender of the message, as a way to simulate a conversation between you and an AI kerbal in the mission. As it stands, you have to pic an “instructor” as your message sender, which are people like Gus, Mortimer, Wehner, and Gene.  Maybe I want Valentina in the craft next to the player to send the message, right?

This is based upon their stats in game, not their sex.
