How BIG is the latest Upgrade?

I'm still using version 1.0.5, because I simply haven't had the opportunity to update KSP since I purchased it. 

 

If I do get the opportunity to update KSP to the latest version approximately how big is the update / download?

 

I purchased KSP through Steam if that effects the issue at all.

About 550 to 600 Megabytes approximately.

But I would recommend to postpone the upgrade. Wait for the 1.4.3 version to come out, and wait to see what people says about. Version 1.4.2 is way bugged to worth the download, paying the fares you pay.

If you are in a hurry (as you want to play on a holiday or something), I think you should upgrade to 1.3.1 (the more supported version to the moment by the Mod makers - and stable!), or 1.2.2 (apparently one of the most stable versions, as it was said).

Hi all and particularly Lisias

I got the update by installing Steam on a new computer and then downloading the whole shebang all over again. Unfortunately Steam didn't seem to give me a choice about which version I got. I'm stuck with 1.4.1 now. Is that a drastic train-smash?

 

I still have the 1.0.5 build on my home computer (that doesn't have a suitable internet connection). 

 

How should I have done this?

1.4.3 in on the wild now, and it's good enough to worth the download.

And it's on Steam for sure.
