BDArmory Radar Issues

Recommended Posts

Hi everyone, thanks for coming to help me. So I stationed a "base" on top of the VAB, and I decided to try it out against some fighters. The Turrets work just fine, I'm having trouble with the radars. It works just fine for the first few minutes, but after green text appears and says "Radar requires EC" and shuts it off. No matter what you do, it will not activate the radar again. The screen pops up for a half second before disappearing and then displays "Radar requires EC." This has never happened before, so I have no idea what's wrong. Could someone offer me a solution? Thanks!:)

Hi i'm going to ask the obvious question,  Do you have electric charge EC  available?  the radar are expensive to run, and require a good solid supply of EC

If the answer is yes , then in order to provide any assistance we'll need as a minimum, KSP version and   BDA version. And a zipped copy of your KSP.Log linked here .

Yeah. I turned on infinite propellent, and if I remember correctly, it allows for infinite electricity. I do know I had electricity however, because the Goalkeeper turret was firing and it needs a guidance system to fire.

Infinite propellant is not infinite EC

Huh... I thought it was both. It worked previously. (Or maybe jet engines have alternators. I've never checked in my 500 hours of ksp.) But there must have been electricity, because the turret was firing. I don't know if it is a RAM issue (I only have 8 gigs) or if radars interfere with each other. Unrelated question: can someone link me to a Venator Class Star Destroyer? I've been looking forever and I can't find any. Thanks!
