Mods No Longer Installing

My son is running KSP v 1.3.1. He is using CKAN, selecting the setting to filer mods down to those compatible with 1.3.1 and attempted to install MechJeb and other mods. CKAN reports the install successful but when we go to KSP,  the changes are not there. Any suggestions?

A few more details are needed.   Which mods are we installing?  What changes are you expecting?  Are the files showing up in the gamedata folder?   If Ckan continues to not install the files, open up a bug report in CKAN,  Some mods are labeled as 1.3.1 compatible, but the 1.4.x versions get installed.  The CKAN crew can fix that fairly quickly. 

If it still fails to install, you might have to manually install the mod.

Thank you Gargamel. Walking through the process of manually installing the Mod showed me that CKAN was installing the mods in the 1.4.3 Game Data directory rather than in the 1.3.1 Game Data directory. Manually adding the mod files via GitHub to the right directory worked! My son is so happy!

You can flip between installs in the CKAN settings, it easily handles different installs of different versions.   Glad I could help!
