Oh? is it?... huh... :P
EDIT: actually, in Pakled's version, or TG626's?

Hmmm... maybe a "blinky" light, when its "actively receiving", or moar like an on/off light for the whole time the mod is either active or not in use?

I cloned the github repo you listed

If you do add liges, I would say just an on/off (ie:  right-click on part to enable receiving)

Also, if you could mount it on a stalk, to move it out from the hull, I think that would also be nice.

For example:

GPS+antenna+standard?format=300wdji-f550-v2-rtf-gps-antenna-big.jpg

I have the mod working, am going to set up a beta page for people to access it

Yeah, I had plans for a couple moar models... I was into planes when I was making that, so I wanted "aerodynamic" flush mounted... I had one on a stalk planned, as I started making some marine/submarine parts.

I have another antenna I made for Telemachus... Basically a combination of the "frisbee" GPS antenna, and a blade antenna I made for OPT.

3rd pic is another small "egg beater" antenna I was making for use on small rovers and probe landers
