Looking for working diagrams

Hello,

I want to scratch build a generic Apollo launch utility tower, but have no idea where to go to get diagrams and pictures to go by.  Any help would be greatly appreciated.  If anyone has already started or completed one, I sure could use some guidance. Thanks.

No I think the links you gave will be great.  Thank you for the information.  Now can you provide some suppliers that carry material for my project.  I have a catalog coming from Evergreen and Mega builders.  Are there other ones out there. Thanks again

What sort of scale are you contemplating?  Assuming a static model of reasonable proportions, I'd guess that (poly)styrene "I" channel would be the basic material.  Lots of model makers' suppliers carry it in a variety of sizes.  I won't post specific links here, but search things like "Styrene I Beam" or "Model Latice Girders" or "Model Structural Shapes".
