Downloaded the demo after watching a few streams... Scott Manley and Robbaz.

Extremely different styles but that’s when I realised how versatile the game was. I could build a serious space program and/or build crazy things and then nuke them

Hi all

Downloaded the demo back when I had access to free, unlimited WI-Fi for the price of a Bottomless Coffee. Most fun I had had in ages. Couldn't afford the complete game until (I think) 6 months later.

Oddly enough the improvised monsters I flew successfully to the Mun and back in the demo don't seem to fly well at all in the newer versions. I've rebuilt them, and strengthened them, and added way more Reaction controls than before and they still shake themselves to pieces or fly like lawn darts or explode spectacularly (which can be cool IF that is what you want - some times NOTHING is cooler than watching a massive 255 piece rocket explode within visual range of the launch pad and STILL being able to land your Kerbal safely (extra points if you can get him back to the now destroyed launch pad).

Regards

Orc

I was browsing kurtjmac’s channel sometime last year and saw one of his (really old) KSP videos.

I was like ‘what the hell is that’ so I clicked it. I was immediately hooked and started watching every KSP video I could find. KSP was the kind of game that I’d wanted for a long time.

It took me a while to get a computer that could actually run the game, but by then I’d seen so much KSP content that I just jumped straight in with the full version.
