Give players prototype engine, those that's still on theoretical concept or drawing board to mess around with

What about things like terraforming, Dyson spheres, off world independent satellites for 2 million people, establishing sustainable life on other planets including underground living on other worlds

The aerospike engine and nerva have been fired, but have not been used on real life missions.

I dont know if this counts as a making future dlc, but i would certainly like fusion engines.

It makes sense to do eventually, but there are other DLCs i'd like to see first:

 

Next one IMO should provide parts to Make ISS and similar station (and let them double as planetary base parts ) Also included should be the shuttle 1.875m SRBs and its OMS engines. Life support could also be an optional feature.

 

Also at some point (maybe in a free update alongside the DLC) the parts to make the Soyuz spacecraft should be added.

 

People are so excited for potential things to add like the BFR, they're forgetting one of the longest and most important eras of spaceflight.

That are exactly my thoughts copied out of my brain. IIRC I made the same argument in another thread.

Think about SpaceX hardware, linear aerospikes, robotics parts like hinges, telescopes and bearings and, you name it. Another idea is to feed oxidiser into the LV-N for extra TWR at the cost of ISP.

Future things will be larger parts like BFR-BFS, argon thrusters, vasimr engines and station parts. Preferably station parts that mix well with which you can create a replica ISS but that is still modular in a way that exotic unorthodox things can be made. As with every new part from now on, it should include the texture skins introduced by MH.
