Saving boosters

So I was wondering how to trigger parachutes on the boosters after I've separated them, any tips,or isn't it possible.

For the parachutes, well, you can just stage them.

But!

That won't do anything.  Any boosters you drop will be auto-deleted once they're out of physics range.  KSP deletes all crafts/debris automatically if it falls under (IIRC) 22.5 km when it's not in focus. or physics range.

So if you want to recover them, you have two options.

First is Stage Recovery, which can give you the money for those boosters as if you'd recovered them.

Second is Flight Manager For Reusable Stages, which does some time travel trickery to let you fly dropped stages.
