Dead Kraken Size

How big is the dead kraken on Bop? I feel like building a base around it. Roughly what diameter should my base have at the bottom.

The last 'vessel' I planted over the Kraken was basically an Mk1-2 pod, a TVR-400L stack quad adapter, with 'legs' made of two Kickback SRBs stuck end to end and rotated out 45 degrees from the quad adapter. The Kraken fit under and inside this pyramid-like cage. It should give you an idea.

Just go there, put a flag on one side, go to the other side and read the distance. Then go back to the VAB, and use small structural panels as reference (they're 1m x 1m).

I do actually have a lander stationed at my Bop orbital station. Might as well take a look.
