Horrible KSP Performance

Hello, i seem to be having a problem with KSP, some ships not big ones such as this craft (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HD917yY7PSo) always lags no matter what i only have SVE and EVE mods installed and i still lag horribly.

 

PC Specs: Intel Core i7-770 @ 3.60 GHz (8 CPU's) and a GTX 1080

I would try the game without EVE, just to see if it changes anything.

Alright, i have two ideas why so happened, one. Your pc just cannot handle the mods. 2 try playing on window screen (opposite of full-screen mode). 

also try to make small ships.

Additionally, are you running on a Intel?

My Mac is running sensibly slower with all that security updates due Intel's messed ups on the CPUs (Spectre et all) since January this year. I fired up KSP 1.4 again one of these days, and had to lower the texture settings a bit to get the thing playable as I remember it (com 2x to 4x).

It could be any other thing too, MacOS is suffering from Bit Rotting since some time now. But yet, it worth to mention it.
