There was also "Alpha".

Then the Russians got involved, and it became "Ralph".

AFAIK https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Space_Station_Freedom merged with a Soviet/Russian design for a Mir-2 to form the ISS.

Yes.  After the name "Freedom" was dropped, it was referred to (at least internally) as "Alpha"¹.  Then, it became "Russian Alpha", or "Ralph" for some internal discussions, before "International Space Station" was settled on.
