Can't find 1.7.1

Where can I find the download for v1.7.1? I bought the game through the store (not Steam) and the only links I can see are for v1.7.2 or 1.6.1. The upgrade patches also bypass v1.7.1 (was it very broken?).

I've been away from KSP for over a year and I'm just getting back into it. I've had a go with v1.7.2  and the Breaking Ground Expansion but as with previous playthroughs I feel like trying a planet pack. I need KSP v1.7.1 as it's the latest version that's compatible with Kopernicus but it doesn't appear to be available for download or is there a page somewhere I'm not seeing?

1.7.1 was released with Breaking Ground and there were a few problems - command seats erasing kerbal's ability to carry the new experiments, surface experiment contracts not updating, & maybe a few other things.  The 1.7.2 update was released within a few days.  1.7.0 was the pre-BG update and IIRC had no major issues, so you might want to try that version.  I thought Kopernicus had a 1.7.0 version also.

Thanks for the reply so next question - where can I get v1.7.0? It's also not available from the store.

The only place to get 1.7.0, or any version of the game other than the last released for each 1.x version, is from Steam or your own personal local backup.

As you don't have either you're sadly out of luck. Your only option is to wait for Kopernicus to update.

Actually you have one other option, you could install 1.6.1 and find a version of Kopernicus for it. Assuming one exists. Or 1.5.1, 1.4.3, etc.

That, or compile the plugin from source and neuter the checking routine. Which is trivial if you know anything at all about programming (you can search the Kopernicus thread for more specific info). If you want to play with BG, that is currently your only legal option. And if you don't know how to program... well, that's as good an excuse to learn as any.  

For the record, this works fine, I'm playing like that myself.

@Badlywrapdkebab The old versions are available, but the links just aren't listed.

1. Log into your store account and find the download link for 1.7.2.
2. Copy the link, don't just click on it.
3. Paste the link into your browser address bar. 
4. Change the last few characters from 1-7-2 to whatever version you want, i.e. 1-7-1 and hit return and it should start to download.
