Can't purchase BG from Steam

... and nope! Tried to buy Breaking Ground from Steam and it refused because I didn't buy the game from them. So if someone at Squad could have a look at this sooner rather than later, that would be nice.

@Murphyslawyer, Your post has been split off into it's own thread, as it was not the same issue being reported in the thread you posted in.

It makes sense that Steam would not allow a DLC pack to be purchased from them if the game is not in your Steam Library.  Where would it install it?  You can however, add the non-steam KSP to your library I believe, and then it might allow you to purchase the DLC.

That makes sense. Their store is programmed on purpose to not allow you to buy DLC if you don’t have the main game specifically to prevent people from buying DLC by accident instead of the actual game. 

They aren’t going to change that, ever.
