Control group function to toggle fuel tanks.

since fuel prioritisation has been taken away and aerodynamics remain a challenge, with some designs requiring careful management of the center of mass and therefore fuel drain, it would help if one could lock or unlock a fuel tank with a hotkey using a custom control group function to toggle flow from the tank instead of having to micro the little green arrows in the right click popup

How do you mean? Tank priority is an advanced tweakable, unless you mean something other than that.

I fully agree with this part. Would love to add fuel lock as a toggle to action groups, for all kinds of practical (and some non-practical) reasons.

You may have started a new game and forgot that 'Advanced Tweakables' are a thing? Looks for it in the settings. Flow priority can still be set, even on the fly.

I would disagree. It has its own rules and quirks, but there's also a lot of freedom to make things fly that have no business being in the air.

It's all about checking wet and dry CoM positions while building. Adding a single small tank on a strategic place can often be enough to balance things out. Sometimes, all it needs is to simply not fill all tanks completely. One trick can be to build with emptied tanks, and only start fueling up when you have the design mostly ready.

Ah!  My mistake. I haven't used tank priority for a while and forgot it was an advanced tweakable. Thanks

Its a global setting applying to all gamesaves but I think it must have reverted to default off when I reinstalled.

Anyway the toggling tank flow by control key suggestion still stands.
