Why I can't do anything!

Soooo I am trying to do a crew mission and unfortunately when I will do the mission, time to time everything just stops working! The only things that works is the clock. And I can't even go to the menu or move the camera around. Is this a bug or a glitch I need to avoid?

Edit: Here is things I can't do

1. Keys on the keyboard won't work

2. The Menu won't load up

3. Camera won't move but it will in IVA

4. Can't go out of IVA with the C key

5. Timewarp seems to not work

6. Map mode won't load

That is not normal. I would suspect a bad install or mod or mod intersection.

I can't think of a setting or toggle that would screw up the game in so many ways.

Maybe post a log file from start of the game to when the problem occurs.

The save file has been around since September, no mods, both DLCS though

Well, if you got KSP via steam, then I would do a "verify local files".

Is that the <ESC> menu or the cheat menu? If you can open the latter, then you could check if any input locks are active and try if removing them helps. (But IIRC the problems I used to have didn't lock the camera.)

I want to give an update on this. I found out what this problem is. It turns out the Recording system predownloaded on windows will not let you access the main tool bar if you start it then escape it before it's 100% up. I don't know how to explain this, but either way, two weeks ago, I found the solution.
