Unappreciated Genius Challenge

If you ever wanted to do an inflight performance comparison test off all the rocket engines at the same time:

 

I've got all the couplers on the same stage. It's pretty spectacular when you hit the space bar.

I consider myself to be one of the most unappreciated geniuses of my time. I'm definitely more humble than anyone else, and mostly unappreciated, so I'm perfect for this challenge. Did I mention my humility? Good.

So here's one that I came up with and actually used! I made it a couple years ago for the purpose of making a lander than was easier to land, which is ideal when you consider the alternative. My big problem was that I kept flipping over the flippin' landers when I came down. So I thought "What if the ship was wide instead of tall?" The crew capsule is on the bottom of the ship, so you don't even need a tower to get in. Genius (if I do say so myself, which I don't)!

The trick with this ship is not to build up too much speed in the thicker parts of the atmosphere, since the surface area produces a lot of drag. It works great, though. Just make sure your Kerbals have ample ear protection, or already deaf from previous launches, since they're meters away from the main engines.

I'll get it up on KerbalX shortly. I have to add some fuel flow to it. Right now some engines cut out about 14000 meters and causes it to flip.
