Probe does not connect with sattelite

Hello everyone!

I am currently trying to land a probe on the Mun for science! Unfortunately, when the probe is behind the moon, it loses connection. I do not understand why it does not connect to the targeted satellite in the picture. I thought that it would make connection with mission control via the targeted satellite. Does anyone have suggestions why it is not working? All satellites contain the Communotron DTS-M1 antenna.

Welcome to the forum, @Crystalking8!

There are two types of antenna in the game: Direct and Relay.

The DTS-M1 is not a relay antenna.

In order to bounce a signal through a satellite, the satellite you're going through must have a relay antenna on board.
