Easiest Planet to develop in KSP2

In my opinion, the easiest planet to be developed in Ksp 2 will be Kerbol ( The Sun), Jool, because they just need to do some animated storms and put some atmopsheric pressure and stuff, and Dres, because it doesn't exist in the first place.

Probably the sun, way too much dv required to get close, plus the temperature wouldn't allow it. Not holding my breath for solar winds, sunspots, or CME, but hopeful... even if they are just for looks and don't change gameplay.

I'm hoping for a Jool with volumetric clouds, multiple atmospheric layers/winds/composition/storms, and maybe a rocky core. With all the asteroids it has eaten up over the eons, there has to be rock or something solid in there somewhere. Hopefully it will be more than just the green center around which some moons orbit.

trying to be nice but, what is the point of this thread

I'm not really sure. I was just bored and replied because I agreed. Maybe OP is trying to solicit another "show and tell" thread?

Not going to lie; i thought by "Develop" he was implying "Build up a potential colony on" and that this was going to be a rather interesting speculation thread.

That sounds like a much better thread.

I wonder if there will be anything preventing Kerbin from being developed with colonies, if not, I will be making colonies on Kerbin, should be pretty easy.

They've said that they don't have a funding system, but they've also shown a resource system, so mining will relate to manufacturing ability. They've also shown that colonies can have their own runways, so I look forward to developing alternate sites to recover 1st stage spaceplanes and such.

Since I surely plan on rescaling the bodies and their orbits by 3-4x ASAP, it would be nice to have a facility east of KSC to recover 1st stages at

I'd imagine there won't be hard limits, but similar to the science labs and science in KSP each planet or even resource might have multipliers that would encourage you to get off world fairly quickly (In theory; we know this didn't really work in KSP.)

Having an colony on Kerbin would work as an way to test out stuff easy. We do test stuff on earth after all.
Mun and Minmus is obvious targets here, also nice testing grounds as they are easy to resupply if needed. They are also very nice staging grounds like how Minmus is commonly used for getting fuel to LEO and to launch large interplanetary missions from in KSP 1.

Now that I'm thinking about it I could add a "let's make a technology demonstrator colony at the Pole" stage serviced with planes before I move my whole space program on the Mun.
