to all the digital heros who keep our world spinning, work overtime, get only noticed when people cant get stuff working, sweat in "High temperature server rooms", get sysadmin cold in "normal" server rooms and get stuff to run with paperclips, nail clippers, ball pens and the wrong size flat head screwdrivers.

Totally under appreciated folk! If aliens came and abducted all the sysadmins of the world, businesses and our economy would collapse, govts would fail (even more so) and our very way of life would crumble. (I'm actually being serious, some folk wouldn't even know which way north was without an app and the infrastructure behind it).

The tribesmen would not care as much... but they would be miffed over not having WIFI because someone messed it up with no sysadmin to fix it
