dave1904
Basic craft will probably work fine on lower end mashines but no matter how optimized the game is I will be able to bring the highest end pc to its knees. If I can use 10000 parts for a craft I will. There is a difference between low end mashines and outdated hardware however. A low end mashine at KSP2s release will run the game perfectly fine I assume. If you're on a budget start saving and build the pc around KSP2 benchmarks. I don't think you are likely to have a good experience with that CPU. It's a fraction of performance compared even to base model PS4. I'm not optimistic about these 4GB of RAM either. I would be shocked if the game is playable on this setup at all, actually. Obviously, we don't have official specs yet, let alone any benchmarks, but I really wouldn't count on it. Honestly, we should just start developing games for Windows XP/Vista again, that way we can actually reasonably use the RAM in our computers instead of having to worry about this issue. The amount of people saying "10 year old hardware won't work", it should be a semi-reasonable expectation that a decade old hardware would work on the absolute minimum settings. Then again, maybe growing up in the era where games were actively developed for such hardware has tainted my perception.
