AirPark alternatives?

I wanna experiment with some airship-based airborne bases, and I used to do this with the old AirPark mod, but it's suuuper out of date. I'm gonna give it a whirl anyways and see if it still works, but are there any other mods that do something similar (freezing/"parking" a vessel hovering in midair/at sea by switching to a landed state)? It's a really handy feature to have.

it worked that last I tried it for 1.8.
