I think he means something like this:

Mmm.... this requires a fully functional docking, maybe later.

While I'll reference for future opportunities. Let's start from the fact that there is now, and not from the fact that it may be later.

I have an idea, the wheel of the DEMV can be change for a kind of boat to explore the ocean moon of Jool, the sea of Kerbin or Eve ocean!

I think the idea of amphibious transport version, but it will be later, after completion of the Mark2 "Praetorians" and Mark3 "Grasshopper".

Well, there are those two docking mods, the ORDA and the Warp-Capable Clamp.

That is indeed what i mean. This one of the possibilities. An other one is a hydraulic cylinder with an extending arm (like a capital letter T with the left part cut off). The arm ends in sort of a hook which grabs a bar connected to the payload. The cylinder extends vertically (thereby lifting the payload), rotates, shortens vertically (thereby dropping the payload). I'm not very good in making drawings, but i'll try later on.

No, it doesn't. But it does require some specialised parts (hook and ring).

I was thinking of this system http://www.orangebins.com/files/TightFit.JPG

That system can be used for all kinds of payloads, closed or open.

I do not know how to implement technically, perhaps a little later, I try to understand. But do not hope for a miracle, I work in a blender 3 weeks, and in the Unity and less. I have not yet made the animation look like, and things like that.

THREE WEEKS???! And you are able to create such wonderful machines???

It is unfortunate that the pod is now integrated into the rover, I liked the fact of having to do an EVA to go in the DEMV

No. Now the cabin Mark 2, and there's a command pod with hatches, stairs and interior. Full EVA compatibility. IVA instrument not work , but there are two cameras 1) main forward view 2) view in vertical rescue hatch (helps when navigating the ship during vertical movement).

Well, blender is very easy to use, I started using it like 5 weeks ago and I've already made huge space ships and stuff (not textured yet).

Edit: It looks like I'm a pessimist, that was not my intention, indeed Bobcat really kicks-ass! :D

This is not what I mean, I wanted to say something more like this: a mun base carries the rover, the rover decouple, a kerbal do an EVA and go in the DEMV. Its what I do.

I can't wait for the one-man bike, it looks good for deploying off larger landers. Can you make it fold from a small package so that we can just pack them onto our ships?

I'd love this, especially If we could pack more than one onto a single rocket.

Hi, I need your advice. I have 2 of the concept DEMV delivery capsule.

1. Lander platform with fuel tank , RCS , main engine , heat shield and etc. Rover mounted on top of it. Lander descends to the main engine on the planet with no atmosphere, and the parachute system on the planet with an atmosphere. After passage of the upper atmosphere, it resets the protection of overheating, and lands on the lander legs.

limitations -

big size , over 5m diameter (heavy)

accomplishments

-orientation for future patches (re-entry heat)

-the ability to raise the rover back into orbit at low gravity (with work docking) reusable

- large size allows to place additional tanks, and perhaps living module, it can be used for temporary housing on the surface (for example kethane factory)

- does not change the center of gravity of the rover

2. as Sky Crane

the unit is placed on top rover and has a small amount of fuel for the descent to the planet with a small force of gravity, or to assist in the descent to the parachute system.

limitations -

not reusable (undocked and forget )

changes the center of gravity of the rover, which does not allow him to move quickly on the surface

rover landing on wheels (jumps are possible suspension)

accomplishments-

small size and weight

possibly slow movement without undocking the machine
