I gives them the ability to sell your first name last name bank account geolocation and pretty much everything short of your birth certificate.

Do you want me to cite it for you?

it gives them the ability, yes, but doesn't say they will.

For sale:

A slightly used license for KSP; works as new; with DLC option and an itsy-bitsy teenie-weenie piece of spyware; price tbd

LOL

(also a violation of the new EULA.)

If it's a violation of the new EULA, then the EULA is unlawful. I have every right to sell my property (the license).

Besides, the shop offers the possibility to transfer the license to somebody else.

It means why would T2 use another type of encryption other than HTTPS which is good for online banking ... do they need to be sure that the data is more secure than banking info?

And if this is the case then why does it need to be more secure?

for those who don't want to read this is the summary.

We can collect all your information if we so choose just short of your birth certificate. Bank account, Phone, First and Last Name, IP Address AKA your real address, Physical Location, etc. They also may sell it to whomever they please or share it whomever they please.

At least that is my understanding

Yeah I'm beginning to wonder about the enforceablity of any of this.

They get to unilaterally change the license (to this draconian, identity theft EULA) and if don't like it, I  MUST stop using the software, but they get to keep my money?

I don't think so.

1.31 FOREVER!

I see where it talks about that they have the right to do it, and where they talk about their security and how its not 100% fool proof, but where does it say what anything about encryption? (I may have missed it via personal error.)

A forum user went to a company and dug into the encryption. It has a higher encryption rating than a bank If that they say is true.

Actually I am impressed. This means that the program is hardened against man-in-th-middle attacks such as that SWIM guy from a couple of pages back. Squad keep your data safe :D

If that they say is true.

is it possible that they just said that knowing it would cause this entire thread to exist?

Even if its a flat lie (which I doubt) Take Two has the right to steal your identity why would they need to do that? What in a space game pertains to my geolocation and banking info?

And sells it to outside sources

As long as it prolongs life of Squad dev team, to continue development of this game, that be cool. Nothing here that Microsoft isn't doing but 50 times worse.

As multiple people have also pointed out, this EULA covers ALL of TT's programs, sites and other things, not just KSP.

OK so let me understand this. Your OK if SQUAD takes your Banking Info or Address, IP Address Zip Code mailing info computer Identification Number Emails passwords and the like gives it to the parent company Take-Two who then sells it to a 3rd Party who might not even know what KSP Is?
