Queen radio on Pandora usually. Sometimes the Gorillas. Also Pink Floyd at times. And CCmixter xD.

Yes, yes, and yes! I've had the pleasure of playing Mars multiple times in band and boy is it fun on timpani!

Interesting how this thread got necroed and nobody raged about it ^^ Don't worry, I won't either, actually I prefer it this way.

Anyway, I usually put on Trance.FM's Progressive stream. They have a "Space Dreams" channel, but I find it too monotonous to be fun.

It looked like someone had brought up the music question on reddit, and a reply pointed them to this thread. I'm not surprised it got revived. :)

I thought I had replied... but it might have been removed as I listed a load of non-KSP game soundtracks!

Besides the game soundtracks, I'm really liking playing with Muse, Daft Punk and lots of other interesting things :)

(but if this is not the same thread I posted in before, maybe it should be merged?)

Anything Two Steps From Hell does makes great cinematic music. Any of my compilation of cinematic stuffs, which does include the entire Immediate Music library. That also gives me ideas for cool cinematic sequences, which rarely look as good IRL as they do in my head.

EDIT: also, this:

Not only do I listen to, but I also watch it on my secondary screen next to the main one while I play the game: SPACE NIGHT, a german TV music program that used to be broadcasted during the night, featuring mostly electronic / ambient stuff and showing nifty spacecrafts, orbital views of the earth, other planets and cosmic phenomenas etc. It fits perfectly when I am about to launch my newest design and hear the countdown for the take off of the Discovery Shuttle at the same time.

Do you have any songs you play as the mood shifts in your gameplay?

Not so much moods shifting, as rocket size changing. Giant boosters = ACDC. Teeny little rockets get a song that I culled from a kids' cartoon a long time ago, dunno what it's called but it is mostly kazoos.

One of the funnest afternoons I have spent on the game was trying to build a rocket that would throw away stages during key moments of "Thunderstruck".

This thread is quite old. Please consider starting a new thread rather than reviving this one.
