How Do I Turn Off Steam Games Auto Update On My PC?

Hello friends. How can I disable auto updates on Steam? Whenever I am working, Steam auto updates all my games which eat up the entire bandwidth. This slows my internet to crawling speed. Any suggestions will be appreciated.

I strongly recommend, after downloading the KSP version of your choice, to copy the respective directory to another location (e.g. C:\KSP) and only play KSP from there. This way, amongst other issues, you'll avoid any "surprise" updates. There's no need to have Steam running to play KSP.

As @Caerfinonsaid, you can restrict download times and speeds (I didn't know that!), and/or change the settings on a per-game basis to only update when you launch the game through Steam, meaning it will only download updates when you tell it to.

Thanks for replying and you are absolutely correct. However, I already found this and scheduled the game updates to non-working hours.
