What to do with the KIS golf club and basketball?

So I've got a Kerbonaut on the surface of Minmus with the golf club and basketball in it's inventory. I can equip the items into the right hand, but nothing seems to happen when I press the 'x' key, which each of their descriptions say is the key to use to use them. There's no PAW for either of them, like there is for the boom box, and the PAW for the Kerbonaut doesn't seem to show anything likely to be useful.

They don't do anything, they're just decoration. Sorry.

Really??? I mean, the descriptions say something (I'm unable to check the exact wording at the moment) along the lines of:
"Equips to right hand. Press [x] to use"

This is too funny if you can actually use them, maybe they just have trolly descriptions to just fool you by trying to play Kerbal Golf ?

Eitherway i need to learn, i might try it if you can actually play golf

If you have 1.11 you can golf. Just use the EVA experiments kit on a planet with high enough gravity

So the little green gal needs to be equipped with the EVA experiment kit as well as the club and/or basketball in order to use them? Do you get any science points for using them?

Yeah just place the EVA science kit in the stock inventory and click use (right click on kerbal and search the menu)
