Hello everyone, I'm currently trying to make a satellite from the real life in this game, but i have a problem. i can't make tube solar panel, any advice?

There are no curved solar panels in stock. The closest approximation you can get is by wrapping a fuel tank in lots of the small rectangular ones. You might have more luck with mods.

I've tried using near future solar mod but unfortunately with that mod, mass of my satellite getting bigger and not same / close with real life satellite that i tried to make. But i'll try your advice to put lots small rectangular solar panel, and hope this doesn't add too much weight to satellite

That is a strut holding a battery (to distance the panels), which I then moved farther out using the move tool.

That looks fantastic!  Not only does it look great, but the part count is kept low- yes the part count is still a big concern for a lot of players.  Instead of pasting a lot of the small panels around a tube, you used just 8 panels.

To move the panels far enough you have to turn off auto-align (C) and allow additional extension (hold L-shift while moving).

that's look great...! i've also tried build my satellite using this method. but it seems not very close with real life because i cant make curved solar panel. oh ya, because I'm new on this forum. Is it okay if i often giving like to people reply post @Vanamonde?

this's my sat. Width, length, mass, and height are same with real life hs-376 (without tank and engine).

You can give likes to whoever you want to, though there is a daily limit of 25 so people don't abuse it.

After several attempts, I finally can make curved solar panels (not really curve but its close) by installing 16 static solar panels on each tubes. And because of that, i got my answer and results from this discussion. So i wanna say thank you very much for everyone who give their time for helping me, hope this can also help someone that wanna make curved solar panel.
