I have an idea for a mod. However I do not how to code, texture, use blender, or anything. I know how to use blender quite slightly.... but back to the topic at hand. I have a mod idea for Kerbal Space Program. If you would like to see more detail into go to my discord server. Link is not here.

 

My idea anyone can take and take credit for is the end of the Universe. Father into the future Kerbakind faces a new threat. The fast expansion of the Universe and soon stars wont be accessible. This means their will be star systems but ally get father away from each other.

Thank goodness this fact didn't stop everyone from trying to turn their idea into a mod.  Or were you thinking that all modders are just bored software developers?

You're sharing your idea somewhere public. Might as well give the forum a clue to that since you're announcing it here. The sayings "No pics, no clicks" and "Locked behind a paywall" come to mind... If we have to enter a Discord for that little thing, we're not going to hold any interest.

So you mean edit the skybox to show less stars?!

Seriously though, there are only a handful of mods that add a SECOND star yet alone enough to create any meaningful consequence to incorporating your mod idea.

Making it smaller scale ie within the kerbal system might be better but then what would be the purpose/goal of the mod? Making it take longer to get somewhere? Not fun. 

TL:DR I think the story behind your idea is a good one but difficult to implement any meaning into the game to make people want to play.
