I decided to try out @adsii1970's sandbox micro-challenges, starting with the Minmus Station. I have broken up the station into 4 categories. Habitation, Science, Power, and Engine. Habitation and Science are clear enough. Power is 8 ISS solar panels from Near Future Solar. And Engine will have 3 NERVAs, and enough fuel to go to Jool!, but we'll use it to send the full station over to Minmus then use as storage for fuel. First up is the Habitation module, or the station core.

And it was after that it crashed. d3d11 is annoying. Probably use OpenGL next time. And new TUFX configs.

Okay! It's been a week now, and what progress have I made? Not much... When I sent up the engine, I wasted half the fuel, and didn't have enough to capture, but enough to circularize back at Kerbin, so once I did, I deorbited it.

So I sent up a new engine, with the 2.5m NERVA instead. But when staging away the fairing, the engine blew up.

Then quicksave malfunctioned, and I got transported back to launching the Science module. So I just did it in one launch. That was fun.

I attached the landers with hinges, so it was time to clear those away. Thank goodness for docking clamps having mini explosives!

Whoops... Ah, well. Here are the rest of the images. I sent a shuttle to go and pick up Jeb, who is stuck on the original modules. Then headed back to the station.

The first MinRelay spun out. So this is the second! It's carrying 3 satellites that will be deployed in MSO (Minmus Stationary Orbit).
