Can I get some feedback on the design of my R-7/Soyuz Replica in Kerbal Space Program?

Recommended Posts

I recently made a R-7 with a Soyuz in Kerbal Space Program and was pretty happy with my results but I kept feeling like it wasn't realistic enough but I'm not sure where to start. Can I get some constructive critism and ideas of what to include so I can have a design that closely mirrors the current iteration of the Soyuz and R-7 Launcher? https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2481446423.

With my short time with it, very aesthetically pleasing! For myself, I noticed the staging was off, as an example, when the 4 boosters ejected, the second stage did not ignite. It did get to orbit tho ;pThis is just what you call "nitpicking", I did notice orientation on launch was set to default, but that wasn't anything that rotating the craft 90 didn't handle. That's not really a critique, more of an observation however.

*ADDED- the third stage had it's engines gimbals in opposite directions, hard to control that stage for course corrections.

This website has a lot of good detailed info, maybe it can help:

Overall I think you're on a good path! Nice!
