Alternatively you could have just watched Star Wars The Clone Wars Tv show  and/or the movie. I don’t know about the movie but when new episodes aired they were usually on at 7:00pm cst on Cartoon Network. Would have been around 2012. I don’t know if it still is but a couple of years ago the entire show was on Netflix too.

Val is bound by defined physics.  Ahsoka is bound by "whatever fits the plot" magic the writer can pull out of wherever  able to use the Force.
