Eve Contract

Recommended Posts

I sent a rover to Eve to complete a contract where I need to make ground contact on Eve and splash down into the oceans of Eve. In this map (pls ignore my horrible drawing skills) the location of t the rover is the red X and I need to complete the splash down into the oceans of Eve part of the contract. If to complete the contract I just need to send my rover to water then i can go to the lake north of the rover location (black path), but if i really need to go to a ocean then i need to take the white path. Any path takes around 1h so my question is: does it need to be a ocean or just anything with water?58oWfNh.png

I don't know for sure, but there is no biome named "oceans" on Eve. The ocean biomes all have individual names like "eastern sea" and so on.

Thus I would guess that it doesn't refer to any specific biome, and you could likely complete the contract by achieving the splashed down situation anywhere.

as far as i understand, it wants your rover to have the "splashed" condition, which requires landing in water. no need to have a biome named "ocean". in fact, no need to get a liquid biome at all; somebody achieved the "splashed" condition on kerbin's desert, because there are a couple oasis
