As well you can test out your craft using my craft submission use the Mk2 tho mk1 is an early prototype

Are you talking about the time warp mod if so it is allowed because it doesn't effect your craft and doesn't add parts

The person hosting the challenge can clarify this but I don't think its allowed but right now he is really busy with life so it might be awhile

If it is a plane it wouldn't matter and you get more points or something like that. The F-35B or C is VTOL but its classified as a fighter jet so it would be classified as a plane

could I use a VTOL for say a carrier aircraft or an interceptor and also does a helicopter have to use helicopter blades like airplane plus?

It will give more points and you can use the helicopter blades as airplane plus is allowed and you can use the DLCs

What I mean is a vertical takeoff aircraft there has the ordinance requirements of a helicopter.

I am extremely sorry everyone.

Life has not been kind to me, nor has it been kind upon my grandfather who passed away after a lot of suffering for a long time.

I have not played KSP in months, nor do I feel like I intend to. 

I believe @chadgaskerman would like to take over this challenge. And I give him my go-ahead.

I am terribly sorry.

I do not believe I will be here in the near future.
