Like, i saw a few videos on youtube like this one

but i cant seem to find a mod like this that actually makes the moons get ejected or anything.. And ive tried principia but it doesnt do anything to my knowledge, unless theres a config that i havent seen yet.

Please help!

Principia is what you want. You didn't install it correctly if it doesn't do anything.

It does modify the Joolian system so that planets do not get ejected. It makes it a stable system, so if you are expecting it to be unstable, that won't be the case.

I meant the planets getting flung and stuff.

Oh. is there any way to stop it from modifying the joolian and kerbin system?

(i think minmus gets ejected idk)

If I remember right, letting the system run unstable would cause a whole bunch of problems.

Minmus is strategically located on an orbit that it might wobble its orbit but won't fling to space. Why? Look how far Minmus is from the Mun.

Don't know... but like what this person said:

You would be most likely to get a good answer to that question on the Principia thread, where people who understand that mod hang out:

But looking at the code, the stabilization logic is hard coded (and only changes Jool's moons, not Kerbin's):

and there does not seem to be an explicit setting to turn it off:

However, it does depend on an analysys of the solar system with a "fingerprint" algorithm to determine if it's stock, which looks like it serializes their physical properties and then hashes them:

So if you use Kopernicus to make some small, subtle changes to some planet you don't care about (e.g., tweak Eeloo's mass?) to change your solar system's fingerprint, that might be enough to bypass the stabilizer.

IIRC, it only causes problems when one body crashes into another. If an unstable body is simply ejected, I think its fine.

That is to say an initial unstable configuration that can stabilize would be tolerated, no?
