Shiny parts... cant get them to work after they worked before PC restore.

I'll try to make it short and sweet..

I had to restore my PC recently. Before doing so, I forgot to backup my CKAN and save my mods, to which I remembered after i reinstalled KSP.

Before my restore, I had shiny parts. I looked up what mods to download, Textures Unlimited and Texture Replacer, I think. 

Well, after my restore, I redownloaded everything, but now i dont have shiny party and its annoying.. ive tried about 10 times, different mods, uninstalling, reinstalling, change game versions, and now im out of ideas..

Could someone play help me get my shiny parts back?? Either steer me to page that explains it or simply inform me of what mods i need to get it to work.

@Nertea (IIRC) also just did SSPX with metallic textures

There are a couple of KSP settings that can make parts shiny (or not), I believe they're reflection quality and reflection refresh rate? They're in the main menu settings option, though they might also be available in the pause menu settings too.
