Colonel_Panic
Station building... progress!third rendezvous completed successfully.A separation failure took out one of the lifter's main stage engines. Thankfully the redundancy proved sufficient and I was able to complete the rendezvous without it, after disabling the opposing engine.rendezvous 4 complete.rendezvous 5 complete.rendezvous 6 complete.rendezvous 7 and 8 complete.rendezvous 9 complete.station core stack en-route to rendezvous.rendezvous 10 complete.power mast on approach to rendezvous.rendezvous 11 complete.crew modules 1-4 en-route to rendezvous. jhonneyboy
Well this is my Space Station, it was a pain in the ass to get it assembled in space. Took me some days to do that with lots of failed launches and explosions. Here it is:And a spaceship docked with itThe space ship it actually too big, the mid segment of my space station was planned to hold 4 small SSTO's which can dock and refuel up etc.I can still dock some thrusters at the butt of this thing and I can go everywhere with it. It can hold huge amounts of fuel, but still have to fill up those spherical tanks.. It contains the Weyland Corp. Space Station Core Pack, B9 Aerospace Pack, Spherical Fuel Tanks (Smooth) and Quantum Struts.

Colonel_Panic
Power delivery!POWERUP.I didn't provide docking or landing capability for the power expansion delivery vehicle, so my kerbals had to EVA to OASIS.My largest dry weight single launch to date sitting on the pad. 91 tons dry.OASIS Stardock on ascent. detaching the lifter in orbit before making the final approach.rendezvous complete. OASIS is now fully operational. Although only 55% complete, it is unlikely to ever see full capacity... the stardock delivery crossed my massive lag threshold and any further additions will be slow, tedious, and plagued by lag.Interesting tidbit: the center power mast is possessed by the kraken. Every time I warp from the station, the center mast begins wobbling and thrashing after coming out of warp, and will continue to get more and more violent until I exit to the tracking station, despite no control input being active.. Lazurkri
New setup I went with for my Acheron Series Stations. Here it is with the my escape pod and tug vesselYou know, this looks like, to me at least, like a orbital weapons station. It doesn't have large enough solar panels, but thats what its configuration reminds me off....

The previous version had solar panels, but the concealed RTGs in this one kept the collision factor down.
info600
My current attempt on a Low Orbit Station (nicknamed LO Station) at a 150km orbit (which since degraded to a 149-151km after many accidental movements of the RCS and more than 1 ASAS)I tried to launch 2 solar panel sections at a time, which ended up too difficult to dock, so up come the second crew (the panel section hitchhiked on the nose of the capsule)...which did not explain how the heck did I even get the cupola and the accompanying stuct base up with the same setup in the first place... Shadow86
This is mine, Frontier Station, product of five launches and four dockings, in a stable 100/100 orbit around Kerbin. Not nearly as big as other examples on this thread, but at 712 parts it sinks my framerate to pretty appalling levels whenever I'm nearby. War Eagle 1
Recently I have been building a base on Minmus. It has taken me 200 days (of gameplay including time warp) to create it. This is New Bethlehem I also added a Refueling station to help complement the base This is KSS New EdenAttached to it is a lander that I modified to preform shuttling jobs. Once a part was added, the previous shuttle would fly down to populate the baseTo do this I used a Salvation Class ShuttleI cant remember all the mods I used The ones I remember are KW Rocketry and Hydrotech

I was mistaken. 712 is the sum of the parts of all the sections including the sizeable launch vehicles.Which is more depressing given the actual station is probably less than half that, and still makes my computer struggle. When you are on the ship, go to map view and select the information icon on the right. It'll give you the correct part count.
