kola2DONO
The biggest thing i've got into orbit so far:This is the FFICPSS (FF International cargo and passenger space station)Basicly made to recharge my KVOPP-381 Planes (the solar panels mounted on them right now don't recharge very quickly..)The station have a parachute mounted on it's one person module in case it fells out of orbit (which probably will happen when i'm trying to dock stuff at it)I'm not sure if it's ever gone be bigger, i'm pretty nooby in ksp..I can't even land a rocket at the north pole.. lolEDIT :I actually landed on the north pole for the first time today!i used the KVOP14-6(A rocket i've made self)I'm going to send a rover up there too. Captain Sierra
If you can dock period, you can build a megastation like you see us doing. It's just a matter of boosting your heavy lift capacity. For a nice new player friendly non-asparagus lifter to give you ideas, click the link to the Guppy orbiters in my sig. Bill Zarr
How did you dock the habitation pod with the aerial and antenna on top? How good are the two small tugs for shifting loads? The communications module has a junior docking port on the habitation pod, that came with a one use adaptor. The transfer stage had a junior docking port on it also so I could dock the adaptor to it when it was de-orbited.The two mini tugs are great at moving things about. I use 1 on each end of the orange jumbo fuel tanks to dock those so a couple can shift 36 tonnes about fairly well. It also makes the mass of the jumbo tank perfectly balanced with respect to the RCS, so it makes docking the full orange tanks pretty easy. The large vehicle docking hub was connected using only one mini tug, so they can handle fairly ungainly loads with no RCS thrusters on the load. Javascript is disabled. SpaceVolvo
New Pyongyang was deorbited to test structural integrity and control, and as part of reducing debris and abandoned vehicles in Kerbin orbitMeanwhile, New Pyongyang 2 was launched into orbit and after 6 additional missions, was completed today. New features include redesigned docking ports, solar panel placement, and various minor changes to all modules. The biggest new addition comes in the form of the BHA 1 module, or Big Huge Antenna 1. Final Part count stands at 911 parts, and weighing 152 tons. The framerate on my old PC is terrible, barely pushing 3-4 fps, but is manageable. BJ Quest
80 max occupancy exploring space station/ship. Handles nicely and appears to be well balanced in many areas. Pickup a kethelane miner/lander ship and it should be good to go to explore the kerbal system (I hope) with a bus in tow. View from the rear.http://i.imgur.com/dhYcGuu.png Picked up a Kethane miner (on the nose of the KMD_80). Van Disaster
I've been trying to keep my stations functional rather than pretty this time around. This is K-120, oddly enough in a 120km orbit over Kerbin. It's still slow to dock with when there's a ship or two there, but at least it's just slow & not a fps killer.Mostly UDKLD large structural parts, JARFR trusses, NP tanks, Fustek docking ports and Kethane parts. Docked atm are a shuttle from KSC, a small hopper shuttle, and an accomodation block which doubles as a shuttle around the Kerbin system ( as long as wherever it's landing is flat ). I'm sending a lot of Kerbals to Jool, I need the staging area for it so this is actually all quite functional. This is Thunderbird 5, where I store rescue vessels - and now I have somewhere in orbit for them I haven't needed to use them at all. Typical. And this... is called "Made for TV", and was entirely meant to look spectacular rather than be any use.The end "prongs" rotate, once they're spun up ( with ion engines ) and don't stop. It's festooned with cameras, makes an interesting screensaver.

Mecha Pants
Not a huge station, I admit. Also not lit very well.Messing around with some of ZZZ's parts to make a small skylab-esque orbital lab, which in my head is devoted to the production of a Pizza so unstable, and containing such potential for catastrophic devastation, that orbital facilities were required for continued development. The bit I'm most proud of is the little crawl-through for the ladder between the crew can and the laboratory. No idea why.

esinohio
Stock spacedock I'm building 350km above Kerbin. Crew tug docked to haul crew and supplies to larger stations being built around Minmus and the Mun. Fuel arm was placed well away from hab modules for crew safety. Tested this by ramming a ship into the fuel for a pretty boom. Upper part of station remained intact and undamaged. Dry dock will be used to create an interplanetary ship to carry parts for new stations around Eve and Duna.Javascript is disabled. iDan122
My KSS docked to my Eeloo-2 ship. The station acted as a hub for refuellers, now i guess they will stay there since i want to use my small KSS as a fuel depot.
cmd
My first space station. Id Just learnt to dock, so put together this contraption, Its mostly just a bundle of ships put together.I Built Bobcats MIR from his Soviet pack. I really enjoyed building this one.Playing with the new Fustek sumdum parts and some. Laggy on my system though lol. I dunno what this is... Science module city? cmd
So I posted some of my Kerbal Stations on here just Yesterday, and my module madness station was far too laggy, so I decided to build a new one that same night with the same parts, give or take, which wasn't overkill. I thought I would post some pictures of it on here, because I quite like it and its basicly lag free, which was the plan,And for anyone who is interested in checking them out. ;-)Loosely based on the Tiangong 3 conceptHere it is with a Orion command pod docked on the bottomIn fact I like the new station so much I've decided to build myself another orbiting the Mun :-P lol. Here my orbital-tug is just about to embark to the Mun dropping off the new habitation module, the tank docked opposite the tug is just for refilling the fuel when it gets back.Perfect fit!Maybe Ill post a picture of this one too when its finished? Colmath
Hi!I'd like to present my first space station orbiting Kerbin at 250 km: Waypoint Station. Its main purpose is refueling and crew transfer: to this end it has capacity for 17 kerbals, and has 3 full orange tanks. It is fully nuclear powered, so it doesn't need any big solar panels that could mess up the docking process for incoming ships to any of its 10 normal and 5 large docking ports. It still has 2 open large docking ports for further expansion (a science station after .22 is among the plans as well as a 5-orange-tank fuel depo). Development of servicing ships (orbital tugs, refueling ships) is still in underway, but the station itself is fully operational at the moment. Zorrm
The Kerbal International Space Station.Currently it holds 12 Kerbals. Since this picture, 6 orange tankers have been moved up to provide refueling operations as necessary. She's parked at a 500k orbit.

Sapphire
I guess I can post this here too. Ascension Station Mk II!It had some pretty heavy revisions since 0.20. The escape pod bank is gone and replaced by a science lab, and it has a bunch of "nipples" on the underside so various tugs and interplanetary stages can dock up and be sent out to any payloads recently put into orbit and bound for interplanetary space. The RCS bikes are gone and have been replaced with Lack's RCS tugboats. And lots more sensors and stuff.
