How to make a MM patch to make a part eva constructible?

I made a canadarm 2 via IR and when I reloaded the save one of the End Effectors got moved to the ohter side of the station.

KSP Part Volumes enables inventory and construction for many parts. It tries to patch every part which might be overkill for your situation, but I've added KSP Part Volumes to saves in progress and never had a problem. Do a full backup of your KSP folder before installing in case it has unwanted side effects.

Alternatively, you could study what this mod does and then manually patch your one part.

Yeah I was going to install this mod after giving up on trying to patch the part.
