Looking for Airplane / Spaceplane packs

so i want to make some bombers/fighters using BDArmory but the thing is i cant find any plane mods for 1.9.1.

any suggestions?

mk2 stockalike expansion, Airplane plus are two of the mods I'd recommend. However the landing gear in Airplane plus don't work.

Try KAX, Airplane Plus, Mk2 Stockalike Extension, Mk3 Stockalike Extension, or Nice MKSeries Body.

All those mods add new cockpits. KAX and AP have propeller engines. Mk2 and Mk3 have new futuristic jet engines.

I think they should all work okay in 1.9.1 but I'm on 1.12.3. Look for older mod versions on CKAN, Github, or Spacedock as needed but they are mostly parts so not too dependent on KSP version.

Also ColdWarAerospace - that works on 1.12.3 and has lots of that style of parts.
