Looking for a mod to auto-launch ships once you've proven you can launch that weight

I swear I once (a long time ago) saw a mod which allowed you to launch 'test payloads', with predetermined weights. Once you'd got a given payload into orbit, it allowed you to effectively spawn any ship of that weight (or less) in orbit, as you'd already proven you could launch that weight, essentially just saving you the time/effort of adding the launcher sub-assembly and getting your payload into orbit.

Irritatingly, I forgot the name, and have never been able to find it again since. Anyone know what I'm talking about, or did I imagine the whole thing? I don't really just want to use hyper edit or whatever, as it doesn't require you to prove you can do it first...
