MASSIVE Performance Gain with this simple fix! [Editing your Save file]

Recommended Posts

That's way too much work for even me. I have a folder with txt files for crafts and I start a new install each time I play. So fast. This is one of those things that has to be addressed by the developers to create a reliable finished product, so if they don't address it, then modders won't either, because the game will be dead.

It'll be in an upcoming patch, and in the meantime you can do this trick, or accept that persistent missions that require saves are not ideal for early access- but aiming for fastest under the bridge is totally fine! Or have you maybe tried to "thread the needle, twice"?

It's a bit of work. I made it as TypicalSim really helped fix my save file and he had made the video prior to patch one.

The main reason I wanted to make this was to bring it to the attention of the dev's. I really hope this is a priority. Fixing how the game saves and preventing the save files from saving useless amounts of information.
