Kraken at the Center of the planet

Found a new kraken today. I was magically teleported from orbit to the center of kerbin (See AP and PE). I ended up underwater. Now we know what the core of kerbin is made out of. Thats science.

"Everything below sea level is water" is a good optimization. KSP used this and I see no reason for KSP2 not to as well. So if you somehow managed to make it through the surface, it makes perfect sense that you'd end up in a fluid, probably eventually sinking to the center, where your ship would get krakened by the singularity.

I do wonder, however, what caused this clip to happen in the first place. Were you time-warping? Switching between the vessels? Or did it just happen completely out of nowhere?

I've been doing a lot of rover durability design testing lately, there are some hills behind the runway where I've repeatedly managed to fall through the terrain. Usually the terrain system catches this and sends you flying into the air (probably breaking some stuff) but sometimes times I fall through. It's worse on Dres, there are whole areas on the equatorial ridge that seem to have no collision at all. Once you fall through on an airless world, you get launched back out by the singularity at the core and go flying out of the solar system.

Made more difficult to learn these things by the near-certainty for the kraken to rip my lander+rover apart on approach when coming out of timewarp near the surface of Dres. I suspect the wheels being responsible for that one...

If you exit a grumble seat while upside down on a surface you'll fall through every time.

I was definitely time warping. I think I had just decoupled into my upper stage and then was time warping when I was teleported. The physicsless time warp saved my ship. It wasn’t until after I ended time warp that my ship exploded.
