Steps to Replicate:

  1. Make sure vsync is off to see it work correctly first
  2. Load DunaTerrainTestSave.json

What testing I have done:
Mun, Minmus, Duna and Ike all did it.
Didn't happen on Kerbin at KSC or beach/grass away from KSC.

Additional Information:
Doesn't appear to have anything to do with wheels/legs.

I don't know why this is happening , I landed this craft on the south pole of Duna and when I reloaded it sank under the ground.

My theory is that the fact that this craft don't have landing gear or wheels could have an impact on this but not sure.

To fix this issue just reload the game a couple of time till it don't sink anymore.

Space Peacock note:
Tested this; only happens when Vsync is on

I had closed the game after the debacle with the lighting glitch. I then proceeded to take a break from

my bug hunting crusade for a couple of weeks. When reopened KSP 2 so I could resume my quest, I decided to

go back to the save where the lighting glitch was. The craft began to clip through the "surface" of Jool. When I took my screenshot, it

was at roughly -4,000 meters and counting.

KSP 0.2.0.0.30291 (For Science!)

Landed tuna can on Gilly. Left ship in low orbit of Gilly.

Planted flag, took sample, short walkabout.

Switched to ship, changed orbit to prepare rendezvous with lander.

Switched back to lander.  Lander has sunk 1300 meters below the surface of Gilly.

Kerbal can use RCS to reboard and fly ship.  On some attempts to fly, ship hits inside of planet surface and explodes.

On a different trajectory, we were able to escape.

After escaping, we had no trajectory lines.
